Used the above with linux-5.9.10-gentoo (hardened profile) under KDE Plasma 5.20.3 I thought is might be some system config error, being just an Athlon64x2, 2Gb RAM, Nvidia 8400GS/nouveau. The unplayable part of the game, which was most of it. Maybe buy Crossover for additional support/influence. Use a much earlier version of Wine for this game. The music issue *might* be solved with native Directmusic or WMP.

NET + native DX9 + native D3Dcompiler4.7 = nope Nothing seemed to alleviate the memory/hang issue. Minor issue was the graphics chip being properly detected. Also once patched, the main menu loses music and Wine complains about MIDI.

However, once the game starts: it starts grabbing/leaking memory until it hits around 842Mb. Patching and installing DLCs and simple mods. Is there ANYONE out there that can poke me in the right direction.WINEARCH=win32 Obviously running and installing.

PLAYONMAC MORROWIND HOW TO
There seems to be a "debug" feature on playonmac, but i have no clue how to go about this. Is there a way to get around my installation issue problem? because it doesnt really seem to matter, the game is just laggy. Yeah i know my computer does kinda suck, but i run civ 6 on low graphics settings with literally no problems. Does this really sound like my computer cant handle a 2006 game? I really dont know that much about computers but i have 4 GB memory 1600 mhz ddr3, 1536 graphics intel HD 4000, and a 2.5 GHz intel core i5. Then we get to our slow slow game problem. So, i just closed the window and opened up the file that playonmac created. There are many many prompts during the installation wizard, but it always freezes on "Please wait while oblivion downloads", and doesnt ever go away from this screen. So basically there are already lots of guides out there on how to use Playonmac if your using a disc, but i have a steam copy (which playonmac supports). Tried starting a new game and the cutscene was painfully slow, the game is unplayable. The starting screen is in like mega slow motion and my mouse lags across the screen. It seems like it would be my computers specs arent strong enough, but its the menus too. I turned all the settings all the way down, and i have a decent mac-so for a game from 10 years ago it should be fine. But theres a big problem, the game runs SO SLOW. I bought oblivion on steam and am trying to use playonmac to play the game-and its working. So i posted about this last week but didnt get a lot of answers, but again i literally cannot find anything for my specific case. Hail Citizen! Welcome to /r/oblivion!
